Брюсова «Дон Жуан» в контексте интерпретаций «вечного образа» в сонетах серебряного века(Лингва, 2018)The paper is based on the comparative historical research of the four sonnets – interpretations of Don Juan as a literary character by the Silver age poets K. Balmont, V. Brusov, N. Gumilyov, and I. Severyanin. The interpretations of Don Juan as a literary character in the Silver Age sonnets are considered in the context of paradigm of interpretations of the «eternal image» in the world culture, regarding the literary character’s typology and the ways of its artistic expression adopted in the world literature.

Brusov, in his poetry and drama, and M. Proust, in his epic «In Search of Lost Time».

ItemПо поводу брюсовского перевода «Дон Жуана» Дж. Байрона(Лингва, 2018)The paper deals with V. Brusov’s translation of a fragment of «Don Juan», a poem by George Gordon Byron, into Russian. The analysis of the strophic and rhythmical constructions, as well as their expression in the Russian translation are presented in the paper. The author of the paper estimates the different variations of the translation discovered in the poet’s manuscripts and their expression in the translation.
