ItemТрадиции Оскара Уайльда в сказках писателей Серебряного века(Лингва, 2018)The paper analyzes the tales by the Silver Age Russian writers, in relation to Oscar Wilde’s writings and aesthetic views. The analysis of the fairy tales reveals both common features, which were due to similar aesthetic views, and the differences, largely caused by the authors’ national mentality. Both specific plots and images of O. Wilde’s fairy tales and many motives intrinsic to his writings in general have been reflected in the Russian symbolists’ tales, which indicates the English writer’s influence on Russian literature of the Silver Age.

The author shares her experience of analyzing the poem at school and student audiences. The attention is focused on modernism traditions in A. Akhmatova’s poem. The research is targeted at identification of peculiarities of the space-time organization, as well as at cross-cutting symbolic motives in the «Requiem».

Item«Одержимые литературой»: В. Брюсов и К. Чуковский(Лингва, 2018)Based on unknown archival materials, the paper considers K. Chukovsky’s attitude to V. Brusov; their common feature is revealed – «obsession with literature»; the reasons that prevented K. Chukovsky from writing about the idol of his youth are analyzed. The results of the research significantly complement the idea of non-conflict in their relationship of «a teacher» and «a disciple».

ItemБрюсовские аллюзии в творчестве А. Блока и Е. Замятина(Лингва, 2018)The author of the paper considers allusions to the poems by V. Brusov «The Future Huns» and «We are the Scythians» in A. Block’s «Retribution» and «The Scythians», as well as in the «dilogy» by E. Zamyatin about Atilla. The historiosophical and genre-motivic aspects of the intertext have also been taken into account.
