Abstract
Many children's books are being translated today, and there arises a need to address specific challenges in the translation process. Children's literature possesses unique characteristics that can create difficulties or demand particular attention during translation. This article explores key principles in translating children's literature, including the handling of character names, the conveyance of emotionality, artistry, and humor in the text. The analysis focuses on the Armenian and Russian translations of A.A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh and All, All, All. A comparative analysis of these translations reveals that prioritizing artistry over strict accuracy often results in translations that resonate more effectively with children.
