Abstract
The paper aims to assess the alignment of tourism education programs with the labor market requirements in Armenia, based on a survey of 102 representatives of the tourism industry. The aim of the research is to identify gaps between current educational standards and the practical needs of the industry, which is crucial for maintaining the country's competitiveness in the tourism sector.
The analysis of the data showed that most educational programs in Armenia do not fully meet employer expectations, especially in terms of applying new technologies, management skills, and sustainable development. This finding indicates the need for a thorough revision of curricula to improve students' practical training and their alignment with modern market requirements.
Based on the analysis, specific steps are proposed to improve the educational system in the field of tourism. Recommendations include strengthening collaboration between universities and industry enterprises, updating curricula to incorporate the latest trends and technologies in tourism, and developing specialized courses in ecotourism and cultural heritage.

The study emphasizes that to ensure graduates have qualifications that meet labor market demands, it is necessary to consider the opinions of industry professionals when designing and updating educational programs. Such an approach will create an effective educational environment that supports the sustainable development of the tourism industry in Armenia.
