dc.description.abstract	The article is devoted to the implications of V.Brusov’s dramatic sketch entitled “The Pythagoreans”. The work is harmonized with the sacral code of the symbolic drama. Via the plot’s subtext Brusov appeals to the mysterial roots of drama’s nature, including the way of initiation, and incorporates the author’s philosophical prism.
