Abstract
One of the important missions of modern education is the formation of individuals with multifaceted, critical, creative communication skills who will be able to solve problems and develop new ideas. The introduction of the "interdisciplinary" (henceforth, interdisciplinary) learning model occupies a unique place in education reforms. "Interdisciplinarity" is the unification of traditional approaches, methods and knowledge, which aims at a deeper understanding of various problems, multifaceted research and finding new solutions.The interdisciplinary approach contributes to the expansion of scientific worldview, as research is based on one or more disciplines. Over time, the ideas of "interdisciplinary cooperation" and "interdisciplinary learning environment" are increasingly becoming popular in public schools and higher education institutions. The implementation of the interdisciplinary project "Armenian History" and "Armenian Language and Literature" is such an experience. In general, the multifaceted changes taking place in the world and the solutions to existing complex problems require a dialogue and close cooperation among specialists from different fields. The educational sector is a primary platform in this respect.
