Abstract

The article refers to the stylistic functions of similes applied in Muratsan's historical novel "Gevorg Marzpetuni". Being unique forms of creative thinking, the similes make the novel sound emotional, colorful and expressive. The article dwells upon diverse nuances and types of similes and their different manifestations used in the novel.
