Abstract

Brusov's early drama is the least explored sphere of his work. V. Brusov tried to comprehend the basic concepts of Christianity. In his play The Teacher (1892), he reinterprets the character of Jesus Christ and does it in the spirit of the famous book by Ernest Renan Vie de Jesus.
