Abstract
Organizational culture exists in all organizations, including higher education institutions (HEIs), and it has a strong impact on the morale and psychological state of the employees, labor productivity and motivation. Each HEI has its own organizational culture, which shapes the peculiarities of the given HEI. Organizational culture is a moral-psychological atmosphere, a set of spiritual-material values, symbols, norms, standards, informal rules, beliefs, customs and traditions, rituals, ceremonies and slogans. Organizational culture is contingent to the given HEI, and it is reflected in its organizational-managerial features, organizational behavior and interactions. Organizational culture is considered as a powerful strategic tool that allows any HEI to mobilize the initiatives and efforts of employees, ensure loyalty and facilitate communication.
