Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of Karl Gutykow’s novel “Die Ritter vom Geiste”. The focus of the article is to highlight the characteristics of Gutzkow’s narrative technique, namely the technique of juxtaposition and the triggering of the main hero-supporting characters hierarchy. We have highlighted through analysis that this innovative narrative technique has become a reference point for later period novels.
