Over the past decade, the project-based learning method has been immensely used worldwide and has become the subject of several studies. The article is devoted to methods of overcoming lexical interference through project-based learning, namely, through one of its variants which is vocabulary journal.
The factors of necessity and effectiveness of the applied method, as well as the skills and competences acquired by students and the result of its application are considered.
The article discusses the types of projects in the context of preventing lexical interference, ways of organizing and implementing such projects, as well as their assessment.
The features and the necessity of using vocabulary journals to overcome lexical interference are presented.
