(Lingva, 2023) Asatryan Susanna ; Gabrielyan AnnaThe article deals with the problem of perception and evaluation of democracy as a sustainable value among students in the process of communicative English teaching. The recognition and achievement of democratic values, first of all, contributes to the formation of an independent personality, who values justice, equality, the rule of law, who speaks several languages and is able to communicate and act in the modern multilingual and multicultural world. The work specifically clarifies the idea that the school has ceased to be just a source of knowledge. Knowledge is not the only criterion and does not make a person competitive in the world. It is considered as a way to achieve the set of goals. Emphasis is placed on the formation of a number of skills, competences and values along with knowledge. Taking into account the fact that the phenomenon is still new in the Republic, the practical implementation of democracy in school requires consistent work. The principles and process of teaching, as well as the applied language material, should be aimed at providing practical results. The article reveals some possible tasks that, in our opinion, can be used in the classroom in the process of teaching English to form students' attitudes to democratic values.

(Lingva, 2023) Matinyan NarineFrom the point of view of the research problem, various criteria for determining reflective competence have been developed. The key criteria are the criteria for independent, creative solution of non-standard tasks, development of reflective thinking, the ability to communicate dialogically, and resolve conflict situations. The use of SWOT technology, as well as a case study, reflective-communicative, reflective-professional competencies developed within the framework of the technology of humanitarian expertise contributes to the process of formation and development of the teacher's reflective competence. It is noteworthy that these technologies were developed within the framework of personality-oriented, interactive technologies. The results of SWOT analysis and interviews with teachers show that teachers in most cases are not familiar with SWOT analysis technology. It is no coincidence that they find it difficult to answer questions about the organization or their weaknesses. The description of the case study technology helps teachers learn how to analyze cases, pose problems, find adequate solutions, compare alternative solutions in different learning situations. Awareness of the need for continuous development of reflective competence using various technologies can be an important motivation for using various self-analysis methods, self-assessment questionnaires, tests, and a reflective diary. An important condition for the formation and development of a teacher's reflective competence is a combination of teaching, education and assessment technologies.

Historification implies choosing the axis of collectivity and proposing narratives from that point of view, within which it will be possible to realize one's own way of existence and create foundations for ensuring continuity. The historification of the diaspora and similar realities can be thought of in two main ways: disciplinization and purely literary experience. The disciplinization of reflections on the diaspora began much later than the emergence of the diaspora itself, and it mainly refers to the Jewish case. The Armenian Diaspora, especially the first generation of the French-Armenian community, presented itself through the prism of literary experience. The study of these two paths is very important to understand the modern diaspora and to determine its relationship with the homeland.

In this context, the article highlights the need for increasing the effectiveness of teaching, one of the conditions of which is the active involvement of learners into teaching and learning process. Active teaching is the interaction between teachers and learners, both parties being on an equal level. In this context, the use of interactive methods becomes significant (when learners interact with one another and can carry out communicative acts). It should be noted that listening is important, which, however, has not received much attention in the current textbooks and by the teachers. Therefore, the article touches upon that topic since teaching listening should be carried out regularly, taking into consideration a number of linguistic, psychological and methodological factors that influence the comprehension of the listening text first and then the other language activities.
