Abstract
There are limited studies that measure the level of media literacy education. And many researchers of the field consider this as the most challenging one. This article focuses on the importance of measuring media literacy education that was highlighted by different scholars and researchers. Moreover, it presents a new tool to measure the media literacy education of future educators. The tool was developed considering UNESCO media and information literacy components, as well as the digital and media competencies defined by Armenian new State Standards on General Education (came into force in 2021).
