dc.description.abstract The issues of reforming the content of public education have always been one of the most important yet the resolution of questions arising from it has not been entirely straightforward. various significant changes in the transformation of education, organization of teaching, curricula, and standards have occurred. This article presents the historical background of the public education reform, revealing the differences in the goals of education at different times. We have carried out generalizations and have presented some issues and and formulated some issues of public education reform, which remain relevant at different times and require systemic reforms.
