Abstract

This article talks about the importance and necessity of forming the ecological competence of students in the field of tourism, the purpose of which is to somewhat mitigate the ecological problems humanity is facing nowadays. The article discusses the concept of “ecological competence” providing definitions given by a number of authors. The main ways through which the ecological competence of tourism students can be formed are mentioned in the article.
