dc.description.abstract The article presents the essential characteristics of the process of the formation and development of schoolchildren’s safety culture in emergency situations, within the framework of the concept of person-oriented learning from a general pedagogical point of view. The role of person-oriented learning technologies in the process of the formation and development of schoolchildren’s safety culture in emergency situations has been substantiated. It has taken into account that the origin of the modern person-oriented approach is based on humanistic psychology. The role of the teacher`s professional training is emphasized and its irreplaceable features (according to the author) are presented.
