dc.description.abstract The article discusses some features of teaching Chinese to university students in Armenia. Main stresses are made on the problems which exist in teaching Chinese to Armenian-speaking students, their role and impact. Among problems we mention the lack of localized methodological textbooks. The article also discusses peculiarities to which a teacher should pay attention while teaching Chinese to Armenian-speaking students to meet modern challenges.
