dc.description.abstract Zoonyms occupy a privileged place in idioms in all languages. They reflect not only the relationships between humans and animals, but also the worldview specific to each culture. They often serve to express ideas, cultural values, or observations about human behavior using characteristics associated with animals. They reveal not only universal truths, but also the particularities and nuances of each culture, making these expressions timeless and deeply human. Their universality testifies to a collective imagination where animals serve to express human realities in a concise and vivid manner. In idioms, zoonyms are not simple linguistic ornaments; they help to better understand the complex relationships between humans, animals, and the world around them. Rooted in beliefs, myths and everyday observations, they translate values, judgments and symbols specific to each culture while building bridges among them. Exploring these expressions also means exploring the evolution of societies, their vision of nature and their interactions with it. In this sense, the study of zoonyms in expressions goes beyond simple linguistic analysis: it is an intercultural, anthropological and even philosophical approach, allowing us to better understand the dynamics between language, culture and human thought.
