    MAIN ISSUES OF CITY MANAGEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

    The research discusses the theoretical and methodological foundations for ensuring the sustainable development of cities, presents the process of forming the Concept of Sustainable Development (CSD) in the context of city management. Key concepts for city management, which are closely related to sustainable development, are analyzed and compared. The methodology of sustainable urban management is discussed. It is argued that the future management and development of cities should now be based on the Concept of Sustainable Cities.
