The article studies the problem of the learners’ language communicative skills development through the use of authentic texts in class. The authors specify the idea of language learning effectiveness mostly depending on the learners’ active participation and engagement in the teaching process. For this purpose it is not enough to implement the process
of simple communication in class. Instead, it requires creating an intensive and regular interactive environment, jointly with appropriate textual material. Actually the use of authentic texts in class makes the teaching process more interesting, enjoyable and effective as these texts are connected with real life and their application fosters the learners’ communicative skill development, world outlook and, the formation of appropriate attitude towards the evaluation of democratic values in life.
